Shearing Shed - Quindanning

Whilst driving home from Narrogin this week I located this shearing shed. The farmer tells me it was built over 100 years ago and all the original timbers were split by hand. Photographed with natural light and processed using HDR.

Freak Storm - Narrogin

Mid afternoon after Rebekah’s Birthday Party we were greeted with this storm which lasted about 10 minutes. With winds close to 100 km/hr it left a trail of damage in the town and surrounding areas.

Rebekah's 5th Birthday

This was a quick snap with the iPhone when we took Rebekah to Annie’s Cafe for breakfast on her 5th Birthday. This would be the last birthday she celebrates in Narrogin before we move to Meadow Springs.

Week 3

RAC Rescue Helicopter landing at Narrogin Hospital

Often as a Volunteer Ambulance Officers we get to transport patients from the Narrogin hospital to the Narrogin Airfield for transfer to Perth by the RFDS fixed wing aircraft. Critical patients are more likely to be transferred by the helicopter direct from the helipad at the hospital to the helipad at a Perth hospital. This can potentially reduce the transfer time for the patient by an hour or more.

Week 2

Pioneer's House

Last Saturday we went to Mandurah to pick up the keys for the rental house at Meadow Springs. On the way home we passed this abandoned house from the Pioneering days. I challenged myself to give it an artistic makeover in the processing to add to the character of the era.
