Shearing Shed - Quindanning

Whilst driving home from Narrogin this week I located this shearing shed. The farmer tells me it was built over 100 years ago and all the original timbers were split by hand. Photographed with natural light and processed using HDR.

RAC Rescue Helicopter landing at Narrogin Hospital

Often as a Volunteer Ambulance Officers we get to transport patients from the Narrogin hospital to the Narrogin Airfield for transfer to Perth by the RFDS fixed wing aircraft. Critical patients are more likely to be transferred by the helicopter direct from the helipad at the hospital to the helipad at a Perth hospital. This can potentially reduce the transfer time for the patient by an hour or more.

Pioneer's House

Smith's Beach Western Australia

This photo is the start of Project 52 for 2011. The aim is to select one photo taken during each week. I start off the year with an image from our visit to Smith’s Beach during our holiday at Busselton. Earlier in the day we visited The Candy Cow, Margaret River, Grace Town and the Chocolate Factory.
