42 Degrees and No Beach
Looking at my daughters bathers on the clothes line tonight and having consecutive days over 40 degrees, I think I should consider moving my business to the coast. At least there would be a beach to welcome me after work. The building we are currently renting as an office has no air conditioner and the water cooler struggled to keep the office below 35 degrees today.
Has the arsonist struck again?
We have had a number of fires in recent months in bushland on the outskirts of town. On arrival back into town after a weekend away another section of bushland was ablaze. If it was lit by our local arsonists, I hope they catch them soon.
Family Reunion
This is the first time in over 10 years that I have been together with all my cousins and their families. It was a fantastic night of fun and food. By all accounts it won’t be so long before we all get together again.
Pickets
This is a picket fence with the late afternoon sun shining through from the back. The fence is actually all cream but with the front of the fence in the shade it has created an interesting colour tone on the face of the pickets.
The Great Aussie BBQ
This project wouldn’t be complete without a picture of our great Aussie tradition. I have included a beef steak and a lamb chop so I can’t be accused of favouritism.
Jessica
Jessica has worked for me the past 13.5 months completing traineeships in Cert II & III in Retail Operations. Today was her last day as she is leaving town to pursue further employment opportunites in Bunbury. I wish her all the best in her future career.
Letterbox
The letterbox has been used over time to be the holder of good and bad news. It may have that long awaited “Cheque in the Mail”, a letter from someone you love or get cluttered with Bills and Junk Mail. Do you approach it with fear wondering what it will give you or are you the person that gets excited about mail in the hope of a rewarding find?
Brenda's Dream Car
Brenda has been telling me for years she wants a Mini. I tell her to keep dreaming and the placement of a few balls from the Christmas tree around these toy Mini’s might be about the closest she will get to having one.
A little experimentation with the processing of an image I took of some fallen leaves whilst out camping this weekend. A bit more “Arty” than some of my normal work but I quite like the finished result.

My new Point & Shoot camera is coming in very handy for quick shots that you only have a moment in time to capture. I feel I have captured a Magic Moment here as they return from collecting water on our camping trip this weekend.
