Driving to Perth yesterday the fog was awesome and these are some of the many images that I am pleased with. All images taken on Albany Highway near Bannister.

Road Kill
Whilst travelling home from holidays on the weekend I oberved an eagle feeding off this kanagaroo carcass. Unfortunately, I was unable to stop in time which resulted in the eagle soaring back into the sky. It would have made a great photo had I been able to capture the eagle feeding.
Day 65
I’m not sure the rider intended getting quite as spectacularly thrown off as shown here.

Fallen Leaves
A little experimentation with the processing of an image I took of some fallen leaves whilst out camping this weekend. A bit more “Arty” than some of my normal work but I quite like the finished result.
Kulin Bush Races 2009

The Annual Kulin Bush Races is a day of fun for all the family. Further images can ve viewed at http://www.projects.graemebarrettphotography.com/kulin-bush-races-2009/index.html
DVD Software
If you are looking for a solution to convert your video files from .vob or other formats to edit and compile movies on your computer then you need to check out Daniusoft DVD Ripper.
I don’t normally recommend products on this blog but after the hours of frustration involved in looking for a simple solution to make my DVD editing easy, it is worth a mention.
The ease of use of the software together with the large variety of output formats make it a good choice if you want a quailty conversion without too much hassle.

Bluff Knoll

This is my first landscape image with the new Canon 5D MkII using 7 images stitched together. Taken at Bluff Knoll in the Stirling Ranges, Western Australia at dusk.
After Sunset
I was out photographing the sunset Saturday evening and decided to wait around longer than normal. The first image was taken as the sun disappeared over the horizon and the second image taken 30 minutes later is a 30 second exposure and there has been no manipulation to the colours.
